ACT Program providing Low Cost Mental Health Counselling
Through the ACT program The Counselling House has provided accrediting counsellors and therapists the opportunity to further their education and train under the supervision of Dr. Laurie Ponsford-Hill.
There is a $30 registration administration fee per referral.
ACT by Donation
The ACT by Donation program will provide you with the opportunity to support student counsellors through their internship with The Counselling House as they provide support to children, teens, individuals, couples, and families.
While students are obtaining the experience and knowledge required to become a registered psychotherapist, they are also expected to pay for the practicum course to their respective school, as well as the supervision required to ethically counsel as an intern. These costs can be upwards of $6000.00 per internship.
Please help support our students by participating in the ACT by Donation program; $30.00 per session.
